Introduction

Welcome to the Marlo’s Matcha Referral Program. This program is designed to reward our community for sharing Marlo’s Matcha with new customers. By participating in this program, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before participating.

Marlo’s Matcha reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate the program at any time.

Eligibility

To be eligible for participation in the Marlo’s Matcha Referral Program, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Have a valid account capable of receiving Marlo’s Matcha store credit.

Marlo’s Matcha reserves the right to approve or reject any application to the program at its sole discretion.

How the Referral Program Works

Once approved, participants will receive a unique referral link and/or discount code to share with new customers. A “referred customer” is defined as a new customer who has not previously made a purchase from Marlo’s Matcha and who completes an order using a valid referral link or code.

Referral Rewards

Customer Reward

• Referred customers receive 10% off their first order when purchasing through a valid referral link or code.

Referrer Reward

• Participants earn 15% back in Marlo’s Matcha store credit on every qualifying purchase made through their referral link or code.

Rewards are only issued for completed, paid and non-refunded orders. If an order is cancelled, returned or refunded, the corresponding store credit will be removed from the participant’s balance.

Store Credit and Minimum Payout

• All referral rewards are issued as Marlo’s Matcha store credit only.
• Store credit has no cash value, is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Referral rewards become redeemable once a participant’s total accrued store credit reaches a minimum balance of £28.
• Balances below £28 will roll over until the minimum threshold is reached.

Marlo’s Matcha reserves the right to review, delay, withhold or revoke store credit in cases of suspected fraud, misuse or violation of these Terms.

Advertising Standards & Disclosure (UK Compliance)

Participants must comply with the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) guidelines and the CAP Code when promoting Marlo’s Matcha.

Disclosure Requirements

Participants must clearly disclose their commercial relationship with Marlo’s Matcha whenever sharing referral links or codes.

Disclosures must be:

• Clear, prominent and easy to understand.
• Shown before or alongside referral links or discount codes.
• Visible without requiring users to click “more”.

Acceptable to disclosure examples include:

• “Ad”
• “Affiliate”
• “Affiliate link”
• “I earn store credit if you purchase through this link”

Hashtags such as #ad or #affiliate must not be hidden among other hashtags or placed where they may be overlooked. Failure to comply with UK advertising disclosure rules may result in removal from the Program and forfeiture of store credit.

Prohibited Activities

Participants may not engaged in any of the following activities:

• Running paid advertisements (including Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, or similar platforms) using Marlo’s Matcha branding, referral links, or discount codes
• Bidding on Marlo’s Matcha brand names, trademarks, or variations in paid search campaigns
• Posting referral links or codes on coupon, deal, or cashback websites or browser extensions (including Honey, VoucherCodes, RetailMeNot, or similar)
• Making false, misleading, or exaggerated claims about Marlo’s Matcha products
• Making unsubstantiated health, wellness, or medical claims
• Using spam, bots, unsolicited messages, or automated systems to distribute referral links
• Impersonating Marlo’s Matcha or presenting oneself as an official representative
• Referring oneself or creating multiple accounts to generate rewards

Any violation may result in immediate termination from the Program and forfeiture of accrued store credit.

Product Claims

Participants must ensure that all statements about Marlo’s Matcha products are truthful, accurate, and consistent with information provided by Marlo’s Matcha.

Medical, therapeutic, or guaranteed health claims are strictly prohibited.

Intellectual Property

All Marlo’s Matcha branding, logos, imagery, text, and creative assets remain the sole property of Marlo’s Matcha.

Participants may not modify, alter, or misuse brand assets without prior written consent.

Upon termination of participation, all Marlo’s Matcha promotional content must be removed immediately.

Brand Standards

Participants are expected to uphold content quality that aligns with Marlo’s Matcha’s values, aesthetic, and community-led approach.

Marlo’s Matcha reserves the right to request removal of any content deemed inappropriate, misleading, or harmful to the brand.

Tax Responsibilities

Participants are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes related to store credit earned through the Program.

Marlo’s Matcha does not provide tax advice and recommends consulting a qualified tax professional if needed.

Termination

Marlo’s Matcha may suspend or terminate participation in the Program at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms.

Upon termination:

• Participants must immediately stop using referral links, codes, and brand assets
• Any unused or pending store credit may be forfeited at Marlo’s Matcha’s discretion

Participants may also voluntarily leave the Program at any time. Store credit will only be redeemable if the £28 minimum threshold has been met at the time of termination.

Data & Privacy

Participants agree to handle any customer information accessed through the Program responsibly and in accordance with applicable data protection laws and Marlo’s Matcha’s Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

Marlo’s Matcha shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Program. Marlo’s Matcha’s total liability shall not exceed the total value of store credit earned by the participant in the 12 months preceding any claim.

Changes to These Terms

Marlo’s Matcha reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued participation in the Program after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

By participating in the Marlo’s Matcha Referral Program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
