Taipei, In Bloom 🌸🍵
It felt like a Pinterest board come to life. And somehow, even better.
Our second Marlo’s Matcha pop-up in Taipei was one of those days. It was only for one day, but everything about it felt full. Created in collaboration with Soil Taipei and Tipsy Flower, it was our way of welcoming spring. We wanted something soft, playful and a little whimsical. Something that felt like stepping into a Pinterest moodboard, with matcha, flowers, light, glitter and jewels all existing in the same space.
And somehow, it came to life exactly like that.
There were flowers everywhere, matcha placed beside petals, small details catching the light. It felt considered but never forced, like everything had naturally fallen into place. People showed up dressed like they belonged in the scene. It did not feel like an event. It felt like a moment.
For the menu, we kept it simple. Our classic matcha latte, and a limited sakura matcha latte finished with a soft pink cold foam. Seasonal, light, and quietly playful. By 3:30pm, the sakura matcha had completely sold out, and there was still a line outside.
What stayed with us the most was the energy. Everyone queued so patiently, so kindly. There is something about Taipei that feels different. A softness, a curiosity, an openness to step into something and fully enjoy it. It never felt transactional. It felt shared.
We kept saying the same thing throughout the day. This is exactly how we imagined it. And then again, it somehow turned out even better.
There is a rare feeling when something moves from idea to reality without losing its essence. When the mood, the intention, the energy all stay intact. This was one of those moments.

If anything, this pop-up made one thing clear. We need more of this in Taiwan. More branded moments, more spaces, more ways to bring people together around matcha, not just as a drink, but as a shared ritual.
Thank you to everyone who came, who waited, who spent the day with us. And a special thank you to Soil Taipei and Tipsy Flower for helping bring this to life with us.
We are still not over how beautiful it all felt. See you in the summer Taipei.
