Nestled deep in the mountains, Honyama’s tranquil environment — marked by mist and dramatic temperature shifts between morning and evening — creates ideal conditions for cultivating tea leaves with remarkable depth and fragrance.
Our matcha is shade-grown using a traditional two-stage process and crafted from Asahi, Okumidori, and Saemidori cultivars for a smooth, layered, and umami-rich flavor.
